Dr. Leslie A. Shapiro is a diplomate of American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Shapiro received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He is currently a clinical instructor of Ophthalmology at the NYU School of Medicine.
Dr. Shapiro specializes in sutureless cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation as well as laser vision correction. In addition, he is trained in facial rejuvenation procedures, including cosmetic lid surgery.
Dr. Shapiro had the distinguished honor of being named one of the "Best Doctors in America" for the years 2005-2006.
